Chris Doucet

CEO and Portfolio Manager 

Chris is the Founder of Doucet Asset Management, the Managing Partner and Head Portfolio Manager of the firm. From the initial client meeting to the selection of securities, Chris is involved in all aspects of each client portfolio.

Chris began his financial career as an assistant municipal bond trader on Wall Street in 1987. Throughout his career, he has had experience in virtually all aspects of the financial services industry including both equity and bond trading, portfolio management, institutional and retail brokerage, equity and fixed income research, investment banking and back office operations.

Chris graduated from McNeese State University, attended Tulane University Law School, is a Series 7, 63, 65 and insurance registered representative of Institutional Securities Corporation.

Chris has also been involved in many outside business endeavors including Executive Producer of the gold record single “New Age Girl,” Godfather of Tribe Magazine, CEO of several other companies and has served on the Boards of over 20 companies and charities both public and private.

Chris is married to Suzette and father of three children, Jean-Paul, Genevieve and Marguerite. Chris is a self-proclaimed business “junkie” who also enjoys travelling, writing and sports of all kinds.
